
A native of Columbia, South Carolina, Brooke received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a concentration in Pre-Law from South Carolina State University.
Brooke later matriculated to North Carolina Central University School of Law. While in law school, she served as a Student Attorney for the Small Business & Community Economic Development Clinic where she advised small businesses on regulatory matters, state and federal mandates, employee relations, and tax matters. She also helped clients plan for future contingencies as they related to clients' business goals.
Brooke is a Professor of Paralegal Studies at Midlands Technical College. In this role, she teaches students the practical skills and legal theory necessary to assist attorneys in carrying out their professional responsibilities. Her courses include Business Law, Civil Litigation, and Torts.

When she is not practicing or teaching law, Brooke enjoys traveling and spending time with family.
